Though this was shot months ago, I still swoon when I see these glitter jeans by Alexander Wang… and that purple Gucci pencil skirt that I so coveted and don’t even get me started on the Ralph Rucci collection that this cream colored jacket with vinyl trim is a part of. Many of the magazines that I have had the pleasure of working with (especially if they are a regional publication) tend to have “themed” issues at certain times of the year. For this one- November always equals “Luxury”. Now don’t get me wrong… I love luxury as much as the next girl, but the gowns and the furs and the dripping in diamonds thing just isn’t the kind of luxury that catches my eye these days, so this issue we switched gears and highlighted just bits of opulent details….ie: a good pair of leather pants, a standout piece of jewelry, wearable fur pieces etc mixed with a modern take on Valley of the Dolls makeup… and a girl that rivals the beauty of Monica Bellucci and voila… Pleasure Dome
